HOW TO APPLY FOR A PERMIT

CONTACT INFORMATION

To apply for the Water Quality Control Board’s Cannabis Cultivation Permit, the following information is required:
  • Name, address, phone number, and email for:
    • Site operator/cultivator
    • Land owner
    • Agent/consultant

LEGAL NAMES

  • Cultivation site
  • Person/business cultivating
  • Person/business who is the land owner

WATER SOURCE INFORMATION

  • Groundwater, municipal supply, and/or surface water?
  • If surface water, water body name and location, stream characteristics, method of water diversion, water storage

GROW SITE INFORMATION

All Sites:
  • Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN)
  • Industrial wastewater disposal method
Outdoor Grows:
  • Acreage/square feet of total disturbed area and cultivation area
  • Slope of disturbed area and area to be graded
  • Wastewater disposal method
  • Wetland/riparian setbacks
  • Volume of water for crop irrigation and rate
  • Number and volume of water storage vessels
